These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“Member,” “Attendee,” “you,” or “your”) and Societelle, LLC (“Societelle,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms govern your access to and participation in all Societelle offerings, including memberships, events, gatherings, digital platforms, communications, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

By creating an account, submitting an application, purchasing a membership or ticket, RSVPing to or attending an event, or otherwise engaging with the Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. About Societelle

Societelle is a curated women’s social community designed to foster connection, joy, and meaningful experiences through in person and digital gatherings. Societelle is not a medical provider, transportation service, alcohol provider, insurer, or guarantor of safety.

​

2. Eligibility

Participation in the Services is limited to individuals who are at least eighteen (18) years of age, are at least twenty-one (21) years of age to attend any event where alcohol may be present, and have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements.

By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you meet all eligibility requirements.

3. Memberships, Tickets, and Payments

Societelle may offer annual memberships, subscriptions, event tickets, or other access models.

​

Pricing, benefits, and access levels are described at the time of purchase. Memberships and tickets are non-transferable unless explicitly stated. All payments are processed through third-party payment providers. All sales are final unless otherwise stated in writing.

​

Societelle reserves the right to modify pricing, offerings, or benefits at any time.

​

4. Event Attendance and Personal Responsibility

By attending any Societelle event or activity, you acknowledge that participation is voluntary, you are responsible for your physical condition, health, and safety, you are responsible for arranging transportation to and from events, and you are responsible for your personal belongings.

Societelle does not provide medical supervision, transportation services, or security guarantees unless explicitly stated.

​

5. Assumption of Risk and Release of Liability

By participating in the Services, you knowingly and voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation, including risks arising from social interaction, group environments, physical movement, venue conditions, weather, food and beverage consumption, and travel to and from events.

​

You acknowledge that participation may involve inherent and unforeseeable risks, including illness, exposure to communicable diseases, injury, emotional distress, property damage, accidents, or incidents caused by other attendees, third parties, or venue conditions.

​

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release and waive any claims against Societelle, LLC, and its founders, officers, directors, employees, contractors, volunteers, affiliates, partners, hosts, sponsors, and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) arising out of or related to your participation in the Services, whether occurring before, during, or after an event.

6. Alcohol Consumption

Certain events may involve the presence or availability of alcohol, whether provided by Societelle, venues, sponsors, or third parties.

​

You acknowledge that you are solely responsible for monitoring your alcohol consumption, you will comply with all applicable laws, and you will not drive or engage in unsafe behavior while impaired.

​

Societelle assumes no responsibility or liability for any injury, damage, or loss related to alcohol consumption.

​

7. Health and Communicable Diseases

By attending any event, you affirm that you are not experiencing symptoms that would reasonably pose a risk to others and that you accept the risk of exposure to communicable diseases.

​

Societelle is not responsible for illness or health conditions arising before, during, or after any event.

​

8. Member Interactions and Community Disclaimer

Societelle curates its community but does not conduct background checks or investigations into members or attendees.

​

You acknowledge that Societelle is not responsible for the conduct, statements, or actions of members, guests, or third parties. Any disputes or harm arising from interactions between members are solely the responsibility of the individuals involved.

​

9. Interactions Outside of Societelle

​If you choose to interact with other members outside of official Societelle events or platforms, you do so at your own risk. Societelle is not responsible for personal, social, romantic, or professional interactions that occur outside of the Services.

​

10. Community Content and Professional Disclaimer

Members retain ownership of content they create within the community. By posting content, you grant Societelle a limited, non-exclusive license to host, display, and moderate such content as necessary to operate the Services.

​

Content shared within the community is for informational and conversational purposes only. Societelle does not provide medical, legal, financial, or professional advice, and members should not rely on community content as such.

​

11. Code of Conduct

Members agree to act respectfully and refrain from harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior. Societelle reserves the right to remove individuals from events or revoke access to the Services without refund for conduct inconsistent with community values.

​

12. Event Changes, Cancellations, and Force Majeure

Societelle reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, relocate, or modify events due to circumstances beyond its control, including weather, venue issues, public health concerns, or force majeure events.

​

Refunds or credits, if any, are issued at Societelle’s discretion.

​

13. Intellectual Property

All Societelle branding, content, and materials are owned by or licensed to Societelle and may not be used without prior written consent.

​

14. Photography and Media Release

By attending events, you grant Societelle the right to photograph or record your likeness for marketing, promotional, or editorial purposes without compensation.

​

15. Third-Party Venues and Partners

Societelle is not responsible for the acts, omissions, or conditions of third-party venues or partners.

​

16. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” Societelle makes no warranties regarding safety, availability, or suitability.

​

17. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Societelle shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages. Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you to Societelle in the six (6) months preceding the claim.

​

18. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from claims arising from your participation in the Services or violation of these Terms.

​

19. Termination

Societelle may suspend or terminate access to the Services at its discretion for violations of these Terms or community standards.

​

20. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any dispute shall be brought exclusively in the courts of New York County, New York.

​

21. Changes to These Terms

Societelle may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
