What is Societelle?

Societelle is a members-only women's community built around curated in-person experiences, genuine connection, and meaningful friendship. We bring women together through thoughtfully designed events including dinners, wellness gatherings, creative workshops, social evenings and more, right here on Long Island.

What type of women join Societelle?

Societelle attracts warm, curious, social women who are ready for more. They may be married, single, divorced, widowed, moms, professionals, entrepreneurs and more. Whatever your life looks like right now, there is a place for you here. They are accomplished in their own right but are not defined by any one role. They show up with energy, openness and a genuine desire to connect. Many are in a season of life where their existing circle has shifted, and they are ready to find women who are in a similar place. They are in a stage where they want to be more intentional about finding the right friends as adults. They are looking for something real. We are not here to replace your existing friendships. We are here to help you find more of them.

Is Societelle primarily online or in person?

Societelle is centered on in-person connection. Most of our experiences are hosted locally across Long Island and designed to bring women together face to face. Members also have access to a small number of virtual gatherings throughout the year, designed for those moments when you want to stay connected but cannot get out. Virtual gatherings are a way to stay connected and engaged with the community from wherever you are.

Where are events hosted?

Events are hosted across Long Island so you can find something within 20 minutes of where you live. Every venue is selected with care to feel elevated, welcoming and intentional.

How do events work?

We host 4 to 6 events per month across Long Island spanning wellness, fitness, social, workshops, signature and luxury experiences. Members access the full calendar and pay per event, attending as many or as few as they like. Event details including location, dress code and any associated investment are always shared in advance.

 

Can I attend events before joining?

Yes. We open select events as open house experiences throughout the year. Guests are welcome to attend up to two open house events before membership is required. It is a great way to meet the women, feel the energy and decide if Societelle is right for you.

What is a Societelle Connector?

A Societelle Connector is a member of the community who personally welcomes new members. Every new member is paired with a Connector who reaches out after you join, introduces you to the community and joins you at your first event so you never walk into a room not knowing anyone. As you settle into the community, you may find yourself wanting to be that person for someone else. Connectors are members who volunteer for this role, and it is one of the most meaningful ways to give back to the community you have come to love.

What is included in my membership?

Membership gives you access to the private Societelle online community where you can connect with members, engage in discussions and stay in the loop between events. You also receive access to the full event calendar across all categories and member pricing on every experience. You attend the events that fit your schedule and interests and pay per event. There are no monthly event minimums and no pressure to attend everything.

How many events do most members attend?

It varies and that is entirely by design. Some members attend multiple events a month and love having a full social calendar. Others attend one or two experiences that really speak to them. There is no right or wrong way to be a Societelle member. The calendar is there for you to use in whatever way fits your life right now.

How do I join Societelle?

Membership is application based. You submit a brief application, selected applicants are invited to a short conversation with our team, and if it feels like a mutual fit, you will receive an invitation to complete your membership. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.

What if my application is not accepted?

If your application is not accepted, you are welcome to reapply after six months. We encourage you to review the membership criteria to ensure alignment before reapplying.

How much does membership cost?

Societelle offers membership options designed to fit different schedules and budgets. All memberships are an annual commitment with the option to pay annually or monthly based on what works best for you. Because our members are intentional about being here, they show up, they connect and they invest in the relationships they are building. Specific investment details are shared during your membership conversation, after we have had a chance to connect and ensure it feels like the right fit. Societelle is designed to be accessible while remaining an intentional investment in yourself and your social life.

Why is membership an annual commitment?

Real connection takes time. We have found that the most meaningful friendships and the deepest sense of belonging come from showing up consistently over time, not from a single event. An annual membership gives you the opportunity to experience a range of events, meet women across different gatherings and let relationships develop naturally. We do not expect you to attend everything. We simply want you to have enough time to find your people.​​​

What is your renewal policy?

Memberships renew automatically at the end of each annual term unless canceled prior to the renewal date. Members may choose to pay annually or monthly based on what works best for them. All memberships are non-refundable.

Can I gift a membership?

Yes. Memberships may be purchased as a gift provided the recipient has been approved to join the community through the application process.

Will Societelle expand to other cities?

Yes. Societelle is designed to grow into new cities over time. If you are not based on Long Island, you are welcome to submit an application to be added to the waitlist. This helps us understand where to open next and ensures you are notified when your city becomes available.​​​​​​​
